Judo

Judo is a grappling art built on leverage, timing, and balance rather than size or strength. In our judo program for ages 6 and up, students learn to off-balance and throw a partner safely, control them on the ground with pins and holds, and escape when they end up on the bottom. Every technique is taught progressively on matted flooring, starting with how to fall correctly so students build confidence before they build speed. The result is a class that develops real physical capability along with the composure, respect, and problem-solving that judo has been known for since it was founded.
